I just spent a few days in the recording studio with a group from Florida, called The Big Bounce.  A two piece group with a very unique sound.  In the studio they were joined by a Robert Aaron from NYC (playing  parts on bass, guitar, piano, flute, baritone sax, tenor sax, and organ) and Kevin Tooley, (drums).

This group does really great groovey type songs, and features a beatbox accompaniment by the very talented Komakozie, to the singing/piano playing/guitar playing of Brendon O’Hara.

If you love great songs performed in a way you’d not expect, this is the ticket.  Bringing the beatbox into pop music really breaths life and creativity into the songs.  I always love something with a bit of a twist, and these guys sure have it.  Plus great singing.  Really from the heart stuff.  I’ll be keeping a look out for them for the rest of the year…
