Oh, sometimes just the thought of a great veggie burger can get my mouth watering!  Fortunately I’m not alone, they are  available all over.  But, how do you know which are the best?  Well you can go by recommendation.  Experience will cut through the maddening choices.

If you live in NY City, there is a great resource for the hunt of top veggie burger, and it’s called Yum Veggie Burger.  Ali, who reviews them in NYC and beyond is a great resource.  I think you should check out her blog – she’s been at it a while and there is a lot there.

I’m down living in Philadelphia now.  And I’m on the hunt for this cities best Veggie Burger, and best Cheesesteak!  So far I have to say I am in love with two cheesesteaks:  One made with portabello mushrooms, and a perfect cheesesteak roll, from the Old City location of The Continental, but it is only available for lunch, and the other from the fantastic Blackbird Pizzaria, which is a vegan pizza place that is quite good for pizza too!  This one is made with an imitation meat product.

Importantly, The Continental has some fantastic cocktails, including making the best manhattan I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!
